Slight Inconvenience

We are all busy. We all have things to do.

How can we help others when we have trouble helping ourselves?

My practice of Humanism calls on me to help others.

Not just when it is convenient to me, but when it is inconvenient as well.

If we want to create a culturing of giving and support, we can’t just take.

We have to give.

The benefit is that when we help the strangers in our midst, they cease to be strangers.

They become part of our community support network.

By helping others out, I meet people who are willing to help me.

When we help others, everyone benefits.
