Don't Waste Your Time

Humanists want to solve our problems effectively and efficiently, if at all possible. Which is why we are so dedicated to the use of critical thinking. We know that in order to solve our problem, we have to actually know what our problem is. And that isn’t as easy as it sounds. Lots of people assume they know what is causing their problem without bothering to check whether their assumption is true or not. Checking to find out if what you think you know is even so isn’t a step you should ever skip. After all, the more time you spend solving problems you don’t actually have, the less time you have for the problems you do. Don’t waste your time.  Question your assumptions.
