Humanistic Leadership vs. Bad Bullying Bosses

It is impossible to have a bad bullying boss - if there are no bosses. This does not mean - work teams don't need leadership. They do. It's more that leaders - aren't bosses. They are colleagues. The difference - matters. 

What positive changes are you willing to make?

I got to interview Sherri Sutton today about appreciative inquiry. She said before she works with a company - she asks the CEO - what positive changes are you willing to make to help your employees. If they aren't actually willing to change - she doesn't work with them.

I think this is a great question to ask - not just the people we work with - but ourselves. What positive changes are you willing to make?

When employees come up with creative solutions - encourage them. Don't get mad because they weren't doing it "your" way.
